Workplace Harassment Prevention Online Training Course

Wilkes University strives to provide an academic, work and living environment free from harassment where students, faculty, staff and all members of the University community can work and learn together without fear or intimidation. In our efforts to ensure that the University remains free from any form of harassment, the Human Resources Department is providing training for all employees related to recognizing, understanding, and combating unlawful harassment and discrimination.

To access the training, please use the following steps:

  1. Click on the link

  2. Those who have previously registered may log in on the left and proceed to step 9.

  3. First-time users should select the link to “Register Now” on the right side of the screen.

  4. Complete all required information fields:

    1. User name – Please enter a user name of your choice.

    2. First Name

    3. Last name

    4. E mail - Please use your e mail address.

    5. Department - Please select the closest match from the pre-programmed drop down list. If there is no match or you are uncertain, please just select “other”.

    6. Describe your position - Please select the closest match from the pre-programmed drop down list. If there is no match or you are uncertain, please just select “other position”.

    7. Role - Please select “Faculty”, “Staff”, or “Supervisor”.

    8. Institution Code – Please enter 0649-SE37-XY12 to ensure you are properly identified as a Wilkes employee and can access appropriate courses.

  5. Once you have successfully registered, you will receive an e mail from EduRisk Learning which contains a temporary password and link to their website.

  6. When you receive the email, click on the link to the website. Please note that the temporary password you received is case sensitive.

  7. You will be prompted to change your password at this time.

  8. Once your password is changed, you can now access the EduRisk Learning Portal.

  9. You will find the Workplace Harassment Prevention section in the lower right corner.

  10. Please click on the Launch Learning section and launch the Workplace Harassment Prevention 110 course.

  11. In the “take a course” tab, please select the appropriate course. In most instances, there will only be one course listed.

  12. Begin the training at the Introduction and compete all modules.

  13. Throughout the interactive program, you will need to use the next button; make selections and answer questions to navigate the course.

  14. It is recommended that you complete the entire training (which takes 30- 45 minutes) in one sitting. However, if you need to stop, the course will resume where you left off the next time you log in.

At various times, the course will recommend that you refer to the university’s harassment policy. Both the University’s Sexual and Other Unlawful Harassment policy and the Nondiscrimination Statement and Grievance Procedure are available in the training section of the portal. These can also be found on line in the Employee Policies Manual. Your completion of the course also verifies that you have received and understand the policy, statement and procedure.

Please note: a record of you completing the course will be created. The university will have access to names of employees that have completed the training. Certificates of completion are not available at this time.
